Almanac Disclaimers and Independent Terms

These terms are short because the almanac is small. You may read these pages, quote short passages with attribution to Lorne T. Halvorsen and this masthead, and argue with my elevations in good faith. You may not present this domain as a box office, and you may not scrape the folio into a commercial product that pretends to be the gondola operator.

This publication is not affiliated with Pursuit, Brewster, Parks Canada, or the official gondola operator. I do not sell tickets, take restaurant reservations, or process payments. Marks, names, buildings, and cableways belonging to the operator remain theirs. The hexagonal-looking postcard of Sulphur is not mine to license. The mistakes in the notebook are mine.

Weather, wind holds, lot capacity, and cabin lines change faster than a static sheet. Treat this almanac as field notes, not as a sealed drawing set and not as a live operations board. If you need today’s hours, start at the Banff Jasper Collection homepage and follow their own notices. Do not write to Cave Avenue expecting a dispatch desk.

Liability: you walk boardwalks, ride cabins, and eat at altitude at your own risk and under the operator’s own rules, waivers, and weather desk. My notes do not modify those rules. If a stair grade in this folio disagrees with a rebuilt tread, believe the tread under your boot and then write to me if you want the sheet updated.

Search advertisements that point here are paid by me so that ridge notes can be found. They are not an official listing. Anyone looking for tickets or tables should go to the operator directly. These disclaimers will live at this address. If they change, the change will be the new sheet, not a buried footnote.

Search-ad transparency belongs with these terms as well as on every other sheet. I pay a modest listing so that people researching Sulphur can find cloud-cap notes, Roam logistics, and dining mechanics before they drive Mountain Avenue. That listing is not an official directory line. If a platform shows my almanac next to an operator advert, believe the operator for tickets and believe me for wind. Parks Canada’s rules for the park remain Parks Canada’s. I do not interpret permits, wildlife closures, or fire bans. I interpret a ridge I have walked for twenty-two years, and I stop at the edge of that notebook.
