PIPEDA Privacy Sheet and Search-Ad Cookies

This sheet is the privacy charter this almanac actually follows. It is written under Canadian PIPEDA sense, not under a foreign advertising platform’s theatre. I run a small independent publication. I do not sell tickets. I do not run a payment page. I do not want your card number.

Personal information: I do not require an account. If you write to the inbox, I will have your email address and whatever you put in the letter. I use that correspondence to answer you or to correct a number in the folio. I do not sell lists. I do not rent lists. If a message is a genuine correction I may keep it long enough to change a page, then I keep the minimum I need to remember why the page changed.

Search advertising and cookies: I fund a modest search-ad budget so that people heading up Mountain Avenue can find these notes on cloud caps, Roam logistics, and summit dining. Search platforms set their own cookies and identifiers when they show or measure those ads. I do not hide a store behind the advertisement. The notice box on every sheet is the notice. Anyone looking to buy an official visit or to book a table should go to the operator’s website and complete that business there.

Server logs may record technical connection data — time, path, browser string — for security and for keeping the pages up. I do not treat those logs as a marketing file. Access and correction: write to the inbox. If I hold a letter from you, you may ask what I hold. If I have something wrong, I will correct it or delete it. This is a one-person studio in Banff, so the answer will look like a letter, not like a portal.

This is a technical ridge almanac with weather and height, not a product directed at small children as a toy. Changes to this sheet will be posted at this same address. Sulphur will not notice. You might.

Independent terms in brief, because some readers look for them on a privacy sheet: you may quote short passages with my name and this masthead.
